Reaching Upper Captiva Island

Our small colony is located near Fort Myers in Lee County, Florida. Transportation to our island retreat is by private boat, private airplane to an invitation only grass landing strip, or by reservations on a local water taxi which makes several trips daily from Pine Island to Upper Captiva Island across Pine Island Sound

Our local agents will help you arrange travel to our island from a Florida airport, from the local marina in your own boat, or on the many scheduled water taxi trips to our island.

   

Resturants

Our Island cuisine includes a variety of island delights including grouper salads, fresh catch-of-the-day grilled sandwiches, black beans and rice, blue crab burritos, and daily specials with many fresh local seafood delights. A box lunch may be ordered to take on your day trip to a nearby island for picnicking.

 

Several local shops provide our island residents and guests with beachwear, accessories, local art and artifacts, as well as general household supplies and groceries.
